Tne Manhattan-born composer, pianist and conductor Marvin Hamlisch has died at the age of 68. His successes were numerous and award-winning, an Emmy, a Grammy, an Oscar, and a Tony; also a Pulitzer Prize and two Golden Globes, for such as A Chorus Line, The Sting, and The Spy Who Loved Me. Marvin Hamlisch was born on 2 June 1944 and died on 6 August 2012.
