Announced today, American R&B superstar and Queen of Gospel, Michelle Williams, is joining the line-up for the Late Night Gospel Prom at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday 19 July.
The Destiny’s Child singer will present from the stage, showcasing some of the UK’s top Gospel talent, as well as performing in some numbers.
The event will include performances from a home grown ‘super choir’ made from the best choirs and groups around the country and will feature Gospel singers Dawn Thomas Wallace, Israel J. Allen and Tehillah Daniel, whilst saxophonist YolanDa Brown will share the show with keyboardist Niji Adeleye. Expect an all-singing, all-dancing congregation that will be a BBC Prom party from start to finish.
