Last night Bastille performed a stripped back set for Shelter at Bush Hall in London in aid of the charity's new Emergency Relief Fund for the people of Grenfell Tower.
Graeme Brown, interim chief executive of Shelter, said: “We want to say thank you to Bastille and their fans for choosing to support Shelter, and the dedicated work of our frontline staff currently helping those affected by the Grenfell tragedy. All of the proceeds from tonight’s gig will go directly into our new Emergency Relief Fund for the people of Grenfell Tower.
“The new fund means we will be able to sustain our emergency response in London for as long as it’s needed. The money raised will help us to provide ongoing housing advice and support to residents on the ground, as well as extending the hours of our free London helpline to make sure everyone affected can access the help they need.”
