From Musical America Worldwide, December 8

“James Levine has issued a statement to the effect that the allegations against him--there are now four adult men who have accused him of sexually abusing them in their teens--are ‘unfounded’. The Met Opera has suspended relations with Levine [he is music director emeritus] pending an investigation of the charges.”

Meanwhile, Emmanuel Villaume will conduct Tosca, Marco Armiliato leads Il trovatore, and Bertrand de Billy takes charge of Luisa Miller.
