Andrea Shin will sing the role of Roméo in tonight’s performance of Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette, replacing Charles Castronovo, who is ill.

Roméo et Juliette, the final production of the Met’s 2017-18 season, is conducted by Plácido Domingo, with Ailyn Pérez as Juliette, Karine Deshayes as Stéphano, Joshua Hopkins as Mercutio, and Kwangchul Youn as Frère Laurent.

South Korean tenor Shin makes his Met debut as Roméo in tonight’s performance.
