About our writers…

Alexander Hall
Alexander Hall is old enough to have seen live all the big names from the world of classical music in the second half of the 20th century and to have experienced all the great symphony orchestras but is also intensely curious about all emerging new talent. An avid concertgoer and record collector from his early teens, he has a particular interest in the German musical scene, having spent most of his professional life there in various roles in the academic world.
After a lifetime writing in numerous capacities, from early beginnings composing short stories for BFBS through vast numbers of correspondence course materials to medical translations, he is a published author of both non-fiction and fiction. He now enjoys contributing to both Bachtrack and Classical Source and divides his time between London and Hamburg.
